Top Celebrity Looks Spotted At FDCI India Couture Week 2024

FDCI India Couture Week, the Indian fashion industry’s showcase of made-in-India couture creations took place in Delhi this week. Renowned designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and Jayanti Reddy showcased their latest collections. Modern couture, excelled traditional techniques and fine craftsmanship took over the runway featuring elevated designs in each of the showcasing designer’s signature styles.
Some of these designers were actively involved in tens of custom-made garments seen on Bollywood and international celebrities at the famous Ambani wedding. After bringing their A-game to the biggest wedding of the century, the bridal-favourite fashion houses managed to bring a fresh line-up to the runway. While some big players managed to achieve this remarkable feat, others showcased mildly elevated versions of their previous collections. A couple of designers brought done-to-death colour palettes and safe silhouettes, merely catching up to the excellence brought by others.
The spotlight however shined brightest on the celebrities who played showstopper at the Couture Week. Here’s a list of our favourite looks worn by Bollywood celebrities.
- Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal for Falguni and Shane Peacock
‘Tauba Tauba’ star Vicky Kaushal’s ‘desi boy’ charm promised instant glory, while his counterpart Rashmika Mandanna paired along for a seamless showcase. The duo was dressed in shades of ivory and gold where Kaushal’s sheer kurta won a lot of hearts.

- Wamiqa Gabbi for ASAL by Abu Sandeep
Gabbi, who was paired with Heeramandi’s Taaha Shah, took the couture week to a whole new level with pearl hood moment. Both the looks worn by the actress, ivory and red, elevated the classic bridal picks.

The newly-married star brought her unmissable energy to the runway in a sensual dust pink gown. The unique structure, thigh-high slit and corseted fit worked wondered on the runway.

Known for cocktail classics and evening glamour, the design house dressed the ‘Housefull 3’ actress and model in a sensual black ensemble. Fernandez’s maximal glam and on-point styling served as goals.
