Lollapalooza India 2025: Green Day, Shawn Mendes At The Third Instalment Of The Popular Music Festival

By Aditi Rana

Lollapalooza India is back and levelling up once again! After bringing down the house in 2023 with Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, and Jackson Wang, and then delivering major feels in 2024 with The Jonas Brothers, Sting, Halsey, and OneRepublic, the 2025 edition is set to be even bigger. Mark your calendars for March 8-9, because this time we’re talking Green Day, Shawn Mendes, Louis Tomlinson, and indie faves Glass Animals taking the stage. And guess what? India’s very own rap sensation Hanumankind is also in the mix, riding high on the success of his chart-topping banger “Big Dawgs.”

Lollapalooza India 2025 is about to be iconic, with some major firsts coming your way. Green Day, with their massive Indian fanbase, is finally hitting the country for the first time ever, and they’re just as hyped as we are! The five-time Grammy-winning legends took to Instagram with the big news: “India, you’ve been calling our name… and it’s finally time to answer.” Cue the excitement!

But that’s not all. Canadian heartthrob Shawn Mendes is also making his India debut, ready to serenade us with hits like Senorita and Stitches. Oh, and he’s dropping his fifth studio album this October — talk about perfect timing!

As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got Glass Animals, fresh off their July album I Love You So F**ing Much*, ready to bring the heat. Plus, former 1D fave Louis Tomlinson is set to make his India debut too, bringing the same global love 1D once had (you know, like BTS-level adoration). It’s all going down next March, and we are so here for it!

One of the biggest names to watch out for at Lollapalooza India 2025 is none other than Indian rapper Hanumankind, who’s been absolutely skyrocketing to fame. His viral banger Big Dawgs has racked up over 103 million views on YouTube and 173 million streams on Spotify, even knocking Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us off the charts. It’s already set to be the anthem of 2024, and you just know his performance is going to blow up the festival!

The international lineup is equally stacked, with American rap legend Big Boi from Outkast, English rockers Nothing But Thieves, Norwegian pop queen Aurora, EDM superstars like Zedd, John Summit, and Alok, and South Korean indie rockers Wave To Earth. Plus, guitar genius Cory Wong, pop star Isabel LaRosa, and indie folk duo Lullanas are all ready to hit the stage.

And repping India hard, we’ve got heavy hitters like Raftaar, KR$NA, Lisa Mishra, Dot (from Archies fame), Punjabi sensation Talwiinder, fusion master Niladri Kumar, and The Local Train’s Raman Negi. Plus, rising stars like Dhanji, Spryk, Sahil Vasudeva, Anushka, Sid Vashi, Raghav Meattle, and Sudan are all set to bring some serious vibes. Get ready for a wild two days.
