Falguni Shane Peacock Just Turned the Runway Into a Luxe Departure Lounge and We’re Ready to Check In

Falguni Shane Peacock doesn’t design outfits—they build fantasy worlds. And their latest runway drop, Ashen Roses, was straight-up first class. Imagine this: a fashion show opening with a jet turbine spinning, an airport tarmac-style runway gleaming under the lights, and models strutting like they’re about to board a flight to planet slay. Yeah, that happened—and it was iconic.

In partnership with Lufthansa (yes, the airline), FSP dialed the drama all the way up at Lakmé Fashion Week’s 25th anniversary. The idea? Blurring the lines between travel and fashion, and making the case that both are about saying “yes” to something bold, new, and unforgettable. Lufthansa’s whole vibe—all it takes is a yes—was woven right into every stitch of this collection. Literally fashion in motion.

And FSP did what they do best: bring couture-level detailing to edgy, future-forward silhouettes. Think metallic corsets, sculpted blazers, sharp lapels, and floor-length trains that moved like liquid air. Everything was extra—but make it intentional. Embellished sheaths shimmered like city lights from 30,000 feet. Featherlight fabrics floated with every step. It was like watching a dream take off.

The color story was a full-on celestial flex—platinum silvers, dusky golds, deep charcoals—basically the entire sunset palette you snap from a plane window. And true to FSP’s signature chaos-chic energy, the styling was a mix of contradictions that somehow worked flawlessly. Second-skin bodysuits met power-shouldered minis. Feathered coats clashed with polo-neck sweaters. Evening gowns were layered like travel looks for the most glamorous layover of your life.

Tamannaah Bhatia made a blink-and-you’ll-gasp appearance as the showstopper, rocking a golden corset-blazer-trouser combo that was less outfit, more golden hour moment. But the entire show was packed with stars—including Karan Johar, who casually walked the ramp in a sheer shirt and blazer dripping with appliqué roses and tassels, looking like a full fashion oracle.

Behind it all were Falguni and Shane, who knew exactly what they wanted this collection to say. Ashen Roses was for the adventurers, the experimenters, the glam girls with passports and moodboards. “Lufthansa’s bold vision of saying yes to new possibilities resonates deeply with our design philosophy,” they said—and it showed.

Because in FSP’s universe, fashion doesn’t just sit pretty. It moves, it transforms, it takes off. And Ashen Roses wasn’t just a collection. It was a boarding pass to go live your most fabulous life.
